Wakefield Middle School’s Student Council looks forward to another great year at Wakefield Middle School! We are so extraordinarily proud of our active Student Council, and hope your get involved this year. No W.M.S. student organization is more involved in bettering the school through student involvement and participation.

The Wakefield Middle School Student Council sponsors a wide variety of extracurricular, social, and leadership development activities throughout the school year, providing for a complete and enjoyable Middle School experience.

• Dances & Activity Nights – We work with school clubs to organize dances and activity nights throughout the year. Students may dance, play board games and table tennis, or participate in our Guitar Hero/Rock Band contest.
• Students vs. Staff Volleyball & Basketball Games – Every year the Wakefield Middle School faculty
• Community Cleanup – We work with students, parents, community members, and police to clean up our local roads and community.
• Pennies for Pasta for Patients – It’s war… a penny war for a great cause! Last year we raised over $7,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Save your pennies and maybe your class will reign victorious.
• Beautification Projects – WMS students, faculty, and parents come together to help maintain Wakefield’s picturesque landscape.
• Spirit Week – A week long celebration of everything that’s great about Wakefield! Students and staff dress up, participate in fun activities, and
• Canned Food Drive & Holiday Giving Wall – We collect food, canned goods, and holiday gifts for distribution to our Wakefield Middle School families and the local community.
