Fundraising - responsible for creating engaging fundraising campaigns that will assist the SGA in achieving its overall goals.

· Decorating – responsible for budgeting, planning, and carrying out all decorating activities for dances and other SGA events.  Members of this committee come early to decorate for each dance.

· Liaison – responsible for meeting and dealing with outside groups, such as our:

o PTSA

§ Attends monthly PTSA meetings and works with them to support the interests of the WMS study body.

o Lunch/diner workers

§ Meets monthly with lunch/food service workers to support their efforts and the interests of the WMS student body.

o Custodians

§ Meets monthly with head custodian to support their efforts and the interests of the WMS student body and administrative team.

· Publicity – responsible for:

o Maintaining our SGA website

o Maintaining the school’s message board (viewed when entering school circle)

o Regularly posting flyers to publicize SGA events.

§ Members of this committee may be assigned to work jointly with other committees to publicize their events.

· Legacy Project – responsible for planning and maintaining records pertaining to our yearly legacy project. The LP team will poll teachers, students, SGA members in order to decide on a project that would best meet the needs of our school and community.

· Community Service – responsible to organize and promote Student Body involvement in various Community Service activities. Members of this committee help to coordinate our Canned Food Drive, and help to distribute these collections to needy families in the area.
